For Small & Medium Sites there are two methods for triggering a Replenishment on a Bin.
The Spring Logistics Manager makes 2/3 site visits per week. He would scan empty bins which send a signal to Spring to pick and prepare the goods for the bin and on next visit the refilled bin would be returned to the Kanban.
Alternatively, within the cell, whoever picks the last of the Stock would trigger a release by accessing Spring Solutions Stock Management System and notifying the System of the empty Bin. This would then send a pull to our Logistics Operative who would pick the Stock and fill the Bin on their next visit to the Site.
